Timothy M. Farina, Assoc. AIA, is a Hudson Valley native and purveyor of traditional architectural design. Now a designer at David M. Schwarz Architects, Timothy previously worked as a stonemason in New York State. From his earliest interests in historic preservation to the present day, Timothy has expanded his scope of learning to encompass a breadth of classical history and fine arts. His tactical experience and architectural interests were invigorated in numerous European tours and a 2017 residency in Rome, Italy where he studied architectural history. Timothy is a recipient of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art 2019 John Russel Pope Award for the design proposal of a new Museum of the United States Supreme Court. Publications include Santiago de Compostella: Architectural Innovation and Urban Intervention, as well as The Classicist academic portfolio.
